Ashlee Paige Taggart

The founder and CEO of APT Consulting, a boutique investor relations and business development firm serving emerging and smaller established funds.

Ashlee began her career as a US equity research analyst at SG Capital, a Chicago-based small cap hedge fund, where she built the firm's IR program as AUM grew from $150M to $1B. She went on to serve as VP of Investor Relations at a Charlotte-based distressed debt and real estate fund, before joining PCG Advisory in New York as Managing Director of IR, where she advised and represented microcap to small cap public companies and built their digital IR program.

In 2025, Ashlee founded APT Consulting to do what she'd spent 15 years doing at the institutional level for emerging and smaller established funds.

Born on the Southside of Chicago and raised to never forget where she came from, Ashlee graduated from DePaul University with two degrees in Finance and Economics.

When she's not at the desk you can find her taking a Barry's class, traveling the globe with her husband, walking her dogs, or indulging in a new tasting menu by Grant Achatz. Ashlee is based between Chicago, IL and Charlotte, NC.
